Veterinarian in northeast SA?

Need a vet recommendation for a new dog I may be getting soon. Prefer someone close to where I live, 1604/Judson area of San Antonio. I know I have driven past a few over the years, but don't have any experience with any. Also prefer one that doesn't charge and arm and a leg too!

Acorn Animal Hospital. this guy is the best there is. I always liked going to him but I was really won over when my girlfriends puppy got really sick. she took him to Dr. Johnson and left the puppy over night. He checked on the puppy twice overnight and even let her go up to see the pup after hours.He opened his own clinic years ago because he didn't like the way people were overcharged. So yeah, he's a lot cheaper than most.

Whoa...small world Justin!!! I have been using Dr. Johnson at Acorn Animal Hospital for probably 15+ years now. We met him at church and the whole family uses him. Prices are outstanding and when u become a regular count on significant discounts and free meds. He is such a nice guy and goes out of his way to help u and ur pet.
