I use blackberry, it updates maps automaticly, but has a tendancy to route me on street level not highways.

It will dump you onto back streets when there's a 1 minute delay on the freeway!

so Bill, would you go with 750 again...765 or a different model?

I really like my Garmin Nuvi 265T. It's part of the newer series with the faster internal hardware and also has free lifetime traffic data.

Go with the cheapest, newest model with the features you want.

If traffic isn't important, don't pay for it. Mine has bluetooth - but it's a lousy bluetooth unit. I tried it with my phone, and it stinks. If routing isn't that important, don't pay for it.

Go to the Garmin site, it lets you choose features, and then narrows down your selection based upon this. Once you get the model you want, go shopping. My favorite site is www.slickdeals.net. Be patient... Someone will put it on sale for a steal.
