    Yeah, they can live for a long time. I've seen some in Austin that were at least 15 years old.

    I used mine as parakeets on my very first reef tank. Everytime we'd move, I'd think about trading them in (they can be a little agressive at times), but they're almost family now.
    I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

    I wanted to bring this thread back!!!! Our Maroon fish is about 11 years old. We had her for 7 years We call her BIG MAMA
    Honey he is so cute can I have him..... I promise he won't eat the other fish in MY tank!!

    That's awesome! She's awesome too, amazing how big she is!!!

    Mine is not as impressive... Blue Saphire Damsel 2.5 years.

    Ive had my yellowhead moray for 2.5 months. Im not sure how long Jack had him before me, but he is a large eel. Has to be several years old.

    Big Boy Clyde; Bonnie RIP. He's a yellow tang.

    He's around 7 or 8 years old. I bought him from another reefer.

    Our Vlamingi's are still with us. The previous owner was Seamonkey (Jose) he had them for a while as one of the tangs (Bruce) was already about 10 inches long. The other (Bella) is growing as well. I do not know the history of Bruce & Bella but it sure would be nice to know.. Maybe this thread can help out with that.
