Okay....All of my Maroons are not cooperating with me for pictures...so, I have pulled up some more pictures from the past until I can get them to cooperate

My abstract snook picture....taken down it's back......love this photo....

Cobia broodstock...not very happy that I am in the tank with them....If you know anything about UTMSI-FAML, I am sure you have heard of these fish.....

UT colleagues Jeff Kaiser and Barrett Fines tubing cobia for gamete production

    Close-up of tubing process

1000's of cobia juveniles (less than a month old) in rearing system. A lot of research on these fish has been and still is going on at UTMSI-FAML

    Cobia juveniles

Okay....posting this, but still more to come.....

    More flounder pics....

Southern flounder feeding at surface. Some of the broodstock.

Myself, Dr. Harry Daniels from NC State (one of the US's flounder gurus), and J. Kaiser using a light table to see if this female flounder was able to be implanted with hormones that help with egg production

Ruben Chavez of TPWD-FB and myself harvesting flounder from one of my grow-out tanks to be transported and released in one of our local bays by TPWD.

A closer look into my homemade (FAMLized) harvestor.

One of my favorite pics of flounder juveniles. I like the rogue guy up on the wall and all the other's eyes peering at you.

    More flounder juveniles...

Flounder juveniles in TPWD's live hauler, awaiting release into bay

And the release....TPWD-FB Rodney Gamez and Ruben Chavez....

Okay....think thats about it on the past UT pictures.....crossing fingers maroons will cooperate soon....

Thanks for documenting. This is the kind of stuff this club needs to see more of.

You should consider submitting an article to the Newsletter committee about this conservation of wildlife effort.

+1 -- a chronicling of where the state of educational mariculture, even if just a high-level overview, would be terribly fascinating... I'd hang on the every word.
