    Default Tube anemones

I've read that they can be placed straight in the aquarium but I was wondering if I should bury the tube some. Picked up a nice orange and a nice purple one today.

I read that they use the sand to build their tube. Probably would be a good idea to put its tube in the sand.

The pink/ orange ones that have hair like tentacles move around alot. They pack alot of punch and killed a waratah anemone and pizza carpet. The ones that tentacles stick straight out and have vibrant (usually green) centers stay put very well. They don't need much if any light and eat like a haus. Def. worth buying the second type. Oh yeah substrate, they make their tube with their own mucus like feather dusters. I had crushed coral and stuck pvc in the substrate for him.

Yeah both have the green centers one is neon orange the other is a dark purple. The purple one is out now but the orange one is still in it's tube. I buried the tube in the sand so hopefully all goes well. They are Supposed to be fairly easy to keep.
