Thread: Considering Making Nano Predator Tank

Default Considering Making Nano Predator Tank

I have been considering moving some of my more aggressive small fish into a nano tank. I was thinking of getting either a 14 or 29 gallon Biocube and putting the following fish in it:

    •*Blue Spot Puffer
    •*Dilectus Pseudochromis
    •*Spotted Hawkfish

I might include my small Flame Angel as well.

    Just a thought.

I think if you do the 29 with the fish you have listed, minus the flame angel that just might work! Sounds interesting for sure.

Way too small of tank for those fish.. I would say if you are just trying to find a place to put them either sell them or have another member pick them up...

I'm with Gabe here -- this would be asking for trouble. Too many territorial fish, too little space for them to claim. There's bound to be some casualties, and relatively quickly. With a 29, the hawkfish and your angel should be ok, but even then the angel may have too little space in the long run.

All the fish are okay now in my tank. The Blue Spot lives in my refugium. He loves himself some pods.
