    that is what i have heard as well. if it were me, i would not risk it.

    I'm no fool. If I decide to get a mantis I'll get an acrylic tank for it. Acrylic tanks are harder to come by I thought. I'm still reading up on it. Seems like they are fairly easy to care for. Especially if you are already experienced with reef tanks.

    There used to be an LFS up here in Austin that had a beautiful peacock mantis about 6" in a small acrylic cube (10-gal?). Made a really cool species showpiece.
