    Default Metal Halide Bulbs

Been out of the loop for a while. What MH bulb is everyone running now?

I have a fairly deep tank (36"). Have a mixture of 250W DE and 400W SE.

    Thanks in advance.

I use the 10k Aqualine Bushke bulbs on my icecap 250DE and it will scare your corals, then make them multiply like mad. I looked up all the info on Sanjay's site before buying and it was well worth it.

On the SE lamps 12K Reeflux, but they run on electronic ballast. With Mag ballast they run at 75% capacity. Radium 20K is another hot one, once again electronic ballast.

XM is a Probe start Lamp and works best with Magnetic Ballast. In 2009 all ballast made must be Electronic or Electro-Magnetic because of energy savings. All lamp companies will have to switch over to a pulse start lamp.

I have a question on what to run. I have 2 super actinic vho and 2 250 metal halides. I want the blue look. I get it when my halides are off. What should I get for my halides to get the blue look but not overpowering.
