Default (Dog) Brittany Spaniel to good home

My wife and I gave a Brittany Spaniel a home a few months back and shes been a great dog, but is a little to high strung for our oldest pug Luna who is 13years old. We do not think its right to have to crate her or leave her outside so we need to find her a new home.

She is 100% Full blood. Liver and White in color and approx 3yrs of age. We have the exact date somewhere on her vet papers.

We have some vet records. We spent close to $300 on a ear infection she had when we got her. This breed like others with hairy ear canals are prone to ear infections so they need regular ear washes which is super easy to do.

Loves to Swim I repeat LOVES to swim. We were told by the guy we got her from that her grandfather was the #1 bird dog 10yrs ago so she comes from a hunting family. She is a bird dog so watch out when you go for walks and dont be surprised if you find her with a birdie chew toy.

She gets lots of attention when you go out because not everyone has a brittany spaniel.

She eats only premium food Nutro which you would get the remainder of whats left along with her toys, leashes and leads.

You must have a decent size yard and provide her a indoor place to sleep. In our household all our dogs are indoors unless they are doing the business or playing.

Please read up on the breed to make sure they are right for you. Must be an active owner. The breeds right for my wife and I just not for our old lazy grumpy pug.

Looks just like the ones on the website

Britannys are great dogs. I had a couple about 20 some odd years ago back when I was stationed in Oklahome. Great hunting dogs if you get them trained.

She is posted on craiglsit, there are a couple of people interested in her with acres of land/farms. If you are interested let me know before shes gone.

Dont worry about it Jack. I have some people experienced with Brittanys looking at her. A couple of them have several acres with ponds which would make a awesome home for a Brittany. She will go to a great home for sure.
