Thread: anyone want to learn how to build a stand/canopy?

    WWWWWooooooowwwwwww, nice pics. I knew it was going to be an all day affair. No wonder Ace was not messing around, he like a machine when he starts something.
    How did he get around the drill bit breaking? Did yall go for another after I left?

    Great stand build, I build this stand for my BioCube it's made out of alder wood with a cherry stain

    man that looks good casiano. but what are the 'scuff' marks? is that just from the camera?

    i thinnk i will use alder for my next stand. i just had a stand built for me and it was from birch. don't get me wrong it is beautiful, but now i like the look of the alder better.

    The marks are sawdust from sitting in my shop awhile i just havent lemon oil it so it can shine...Ya alder is a great wood
