Atlantic City Aquarium
While at MACNA I took a side trip to the AC aquarium. It was VERY small and not very well kept (kind of like the city itself) but I managed to get a few pictures to share.

I didn't even know Atlantic City even had an aquarium. There was one in Wildwood (a little more south of AC...AC is exit 38 on the parkway, Wildwood is exit 4) that I ended up reporting a couple of times. Hopefully they've been shut down. But yeah. AC is a bad, scary place. Especially at night. Hope you had a good trip!

I had a very nice trip, thanks. I wasn't prepared for just how nasty AC and
Philly were though. The aquarium I went to was in AC itself. It was down by the water not far from the hotel....maybe 10 minutes. Probably not bad enough to be reported but not someplace I would go again nor recommend!

AC, and most of Philly are both very poor cities. They have high crimes rates and all that. I remember once I went with my boyfriend to the Philadelphia Zoo for my birthday. The zoo is in a really bad part of town, and after we went we decided to get some fast food. Of course the GPS always has to go through the worst parts of town. At a stop light we sat and watched a man walk into the middle of the road, pick up something off the ground, and eat it. And then he walked away like nothing happened and it was something normal. I know it's not very funny, but I hadn't laughed that hard in a while. We decided to go back to find a McDonald's in Center City where the food is on plates. I almost miss living on the east coast...
