I am getting a gun!
I am getting my late grandpas .38 special.
My grandmother said "what am I gonna do with it? I know he wants you to have it"
Apparently that was enough for my wife to hear from my grandma.
Next is an AK.
Wait for pics!

Your grandmother has an AK?
LOL
Better not push too fast on the wifey for another one, use the inherited gun as an example to show her how you are prepared to be responsible and store/use it safely. Once she sees that maybe she will be more open to what you want.
As far as what you mentioned in your other thread, getting into guns can be expensive if you let it so I can understand her concern, especially after already being in the expensive hobby of saltwater fish tanks!

not to mention I bought an 87 Dodge W150 Power Wagon today. I had to drive it home from Boerne with a file in the carb to keep it open.
It's old and dirty, I just got back from O O O O'Reilly with a ton of parts for a proper tune up. Soon as we get the rats out of the exhaust, I think we will be good! I took her for a drive and it broke down on me, guess those vise grips holding my negative on just aint doin' the trick LOLOLOL. It's such a beater, by the weekend it will have tint and alarm, lol. Oh yeah, I sit in the truck to work on it. Too cool.

You do know that according to official internet protocol, if you don't post pictures, it didn't happen or doesn't exist right? LOL

Sounds like a sweet ride dude, got to ask though, is the window tint before or after repairing the carb? Battery terminal?
Hey, sounds like you have your priorities on tight anyway.
