Thread: RO/DI

    Default RO/DI

What brand would you recommend? I am going to need to make at least 100 gpd, and it will be in New Braunfels, which if you don't know has super high calcium and lime in the water, which clogs up membranes really fast, we will be putting in a water softner soon, but did not know which RO/DI unit to go with. Suggestions?

Yes they are a quality sponsor as well. Both are great places to buy one at. Russ over at Buckeye is pretty helpful to those that have questions (even if you buy elsewhere).

I have heard good things about buckeyefieldsupply.com. I went with FilterGuys (thefilterguys.biz). If you call them up and tell them what your needs are they will walk you through it. The tubing they use is quick connect, and they also have some of the other fittings that other places do not always have on hand.

Secretweapons22, I am in New Braunfels and I use a Culligan RO/DI in front of a Culligan whole house unit. I'm happy with the unit, and I love the fact that I don't have to check the membranes, as part of my service agreement they come out, do a TDS check, if it's above 2, they replace the filters.
