I got this from greenmako...my anniversary present from hubby. I love it and it seems to really like the LED lighting in my Solana.

IME, my anemone (H. magnifica) does not bother my clams at all.

I have a clam that was basically inside the tentacles of an anemone for awhile and didn't seem to bother it all. I moved it several times and it would always move right back into it. Startle it and it would clam down on a tentacle.

Yes it is...it's been moving around lately and it planted there a couple days ago. I've been watching the clam and it doesn't seem stressed by it. Should I look for anything particular? I can't move the clam...it's foot is set on the rock.

You don't need to do anything. However, if you want to move the clam, you can always cut it loode and move it. I would not recommend this but you can do it without damage to the clam

I don't have another spot for it. The tank is only 34gallons and I've got SPS frags all over LOL. The nem stayed in the spot I wanted it for the first couple of weeks...then got sucked into the tunze, but luckily didn't hit the propeller inside. After a week of sulking at the bottom of the tank it went back to the original spot and then started moving around a week after that. It's attached to the side of the clam now and I can see part of the mantle near it not coming out as full as the other side, but it's not a horrible difference. It's also touching an SPS and occasionally some zoas and it doesn't appear to be stinging them at all, which I thought was interesting.

My clam lost a little color, and does not respond to much anymore.

but on the bright side, The bi-colored angel was as happy as could be.
