Microbubbles in tank
In my 65, I am having a problem with really tiny microbubbles in my main display. This system has been running now for right around a month or so, so all of the plumbing should be "broken in". This system uses a overflow with a 1 3/4" durso standpipe to take the water down to my sump. The end of the return pipe is spa-flex, I have tried placing the line above, at, and below the water. I get no change in microbubbles.
There, it goes into the first chamber where I have my coralife 65 skimmer which then feeds into my fuge, and the fuge feeds the return pump Mag 5 (small, I know I will be getting a larger one).
I thought at first it was my skimmer, but I turned it off for 2 days and I was still having the microbubbles. It "looks" like I have no microbubbles in my fuge (but that could be because I view the fuge from above the water). My return pump is completely submerged under water, with no parts being above the water. The return line is 3/4" PVC terminating in a 45 elbow into about 2 feet of loc-line with a simple nozzle.
Anyone have any ideas?

Do u have a baffle in between chambers u could place a sponge or filter pad in to? I placed a small strip of the filter pad in my last baffle before it hits the return and it solved that problem for me.

If you put a filter sock on your return pipe that goes into the sump that should take care of the problem.

Airation is good for the water, baffle would probly be the best bet. Does your return pump take in air from the overflow?
