Thread: Pics of my new Anemone ---

Default Pics of my new Anemone ---

Hey just bought this anemone a while ago. I was told it is a blue long tentacle anemone, but I can not find one in my searching that matches its look. Any helps with a positive ID & proper care would be great (I did lots of research, but nothing beats first hand experience). I am a bit nervous since it is my first....

I would say the care for any long tentacle anemone would suffice for this color morph. It looks pretty sweet. Enjoy and good luck!

The anemome seems to have setled into the sand bed quite well, so I do not want to pluck it out just now to take a picture.

It seems to be doing pretty well. The temtacles are reaching up nicely, and I have seen it grabbing some food. It sure is a pretty blue under my lights. I wish I have a better camera. Anyway, this color is just waht my tank needed. If things go well with this little fellow, I think a carpet anemome will be in my tanks future.

I bought the anemone from Polly's Pets in Universal city.

Nice, what kind of lighting do you have - just curious.

I walked by the anemone and saw it raised up in the back...does this help with the ID?
