    Default FOR OTHER NEWBIES...NICE READ!

First of all, I didnt know where to stick this thread, but I thought it was pertinent to post for all members to see...

I purchased a book today, my 3rd one since picking up hobby 5 weeks ago (I know, I am obsessed, just ask my wonderful wife), and it is by far the best, most comprehensive and up to date, with beautiful pictures and sharp illustrations.

The Marine Reef Aquarium by Philip Hunt, published by Barron's (PM me if you need further details)...I picked it up at the local Barnes & Noble in Corpus Christi, great for beginner as it goes through EVERYTHING you need to know and think about when starting off in the hobby.

Just thought I would share this great find, I am sure someone will tell me that I should have posted in Library section, now that I just saw that...oops, newbie mistake???

    Best,

    Txmaverickmh

P.S. Going live with first SaltWater Tank very soon, like next few weeks! Need thoughts, prayers, and HEEEELLLPPP!!!!

    Hey Zarathustra,

Thanks for the recommendation, I picked up "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" hard cover 2nd edition today while I was in San Antonio at Aquarium Designs, awesome book, definitely better than my other book. Thanks again!

Yea, the website is hard to read but I love the WetWebMedia.com boys. I really like thier overall approach to reefkeeping. I like the multiple viewpoints on the same subject at the same site. If you like The Conscientious Marine Aquarist spend a few weeks reading up at wetwebmedia.
