For what it's worth in my biocube 29 I have Kenya Trees, 3 colonies of Zoas, 1 bird of paradise, 1 ricordea florida, pulsing xenia and a small frogspawn. I do have the nanocustoms lighting upgrade (144 W). I've had all of the corals now for a few months an they are doing great. I had some trouble with the frogspawn and my pig of a clown hosting in it. But, the frogspawn seems to have adapted to it and is doing well. What may look kind of neat if you haven't started purchasing anything is a ricordea mat as part of your sand bed. Think of it as a flowing sandbed mat.

Great rock work! Biocubes are great systems. I had one as my first tank. I blame Oceanic Systems for my severe case of marine-aquaphylia.

Yea i would like to put ricordea as a sand bed and couple of other coral in there but since is only 8 and 14 gallons i dont know if it will be alot! and about the light like how much more would i need to upgrade in order to maintan all the coral that i get? and what should i feed them or give them in order to them to keep growing and alive. cause i have always had bad luck with coral! so thats why i decided to go with a BioCube!

you dont have to feed coral anything, just do water changes i notice my coral start new growth after every water change, i put phytoplankten for my filter feeders buts thats about it, growth is from the lights and the stock lighting is good for soft corals, im more worried about the fish kinda pushing it with 2 clowns and a coral beauty, same with the 8 i think ur about full there too, this is what i have in my 14g 1 perc,1xgreen clown goby, 1x trimma goby, purple fire fish, peppermint shrimp, fiji neon blue hermit, snails, and lots dang bristle worms lol. coral 4 diff zoas, toadstool(small) , 3 kenyis 6 in+, green star polyps, 6 mushrooms. im done stocking this one.

If anything, it would need to be something like a Derasa clam. But, I would assume, the stock lights are probably not enough unless you put the clam very, very high on the rocks (You would normally put a Derasa on the sand bed with MH lighting). Problem with the Deresa though is they get fairly large, but from what i've read they grow slow, so IMO you should be good for a while.
