    Default Radiant wrasse/mystery wrasse experience

I am populating my 125 gallon reef tank. I will have ornamental shrimp. Mostly skunk cleaners. I see most sites list both the radiant wrasse and mystery wrasse as reef-safe. I look at their natural diets and mouths and worry about losing my shrimp.
Does anyone have experience keeping both together- good or bad experiences, please let me know before I buy.

I have had both and the only one that didn't go after ornamentals was the mystery wrasse.

Actually, the mystery wrasse's mouth looks much more formidable. I don't want to add either wrasse if they will eat my cleaner shrimp. I love their bold personalities. When I do tank maintenance, they crawl up and down my arm if I need to move a rock, attach a frag, what-ever. They steal food from the other fish and 'crawl' on the water surface to get flake food when I feed that!

It will come down to the behavior of the actual fish, not the specie. Also, cleaners tend to get lucky since they clean, pretty much for their lives.

I've had the yellow coris, radiant and xmas wrasses and all went after my shrimp whenever adding new ones especially. The mystery wrasse never did and I kept cleaners and peppermint shrimp with no problem.

I have a wondeful Mystery wrasse that doesnt bother anyone.
All fish, even of the same species, can behave differently, but in general most would say you are fine with a Mystery wrasse

I think I might try a Mystery wrasse then!

I have a Radiant Wrasse. He's beautiful. I just got him on Friday so he still hides a lot. He's been very well behaved though.

I have a radiant and a mystery right now and they dont bother anything or each other. Of course they are fed daily so they are nice and fat.
