    Default Green Algae

I purchased a used Oceanic 29BC a few months ago. At first it was running great! No problems whatsoever...Now..not so much that it's a problem but, I have a layer of green algae that grows against the glass. I've never had a biocube before, my other tank is a 100G which my dad and I will be updating to a 190G, but thats another thread...

Is there anything besides cleaning it or is that just the way a BC runs?? Like i said..it's not really a problem, I clean it once a day which isn't completely horrible..haha. Any tips would be great yall!

are you running a protein skimmer with it?....that will help reduce algal growth...

Do you use carbon and GFO? That might help.

Not at the moment. I'm purchasing one on Monday though. Also have some micro bubbles that keep the water from looking clear...

Their could be multiple things wrong; if you are using tap water all the minerals will produce that, you could put a small uv sterilizer that would kill the algae, or buy a algae eating fish.
