dead zoas?

It looks like a lot of people are having problems with keeping healthy African zoas such as Blue Hornets, Purple Hornets...AOI etc. I have blue hornets and AOI...both took about a week to open up when I got them. They are doing great now but there should be disclaimers about these types of zoas when they are purchased because they require different care.

They literally like HIGH flow and do best in moderate to low light, the light must be direct though. I'm keeping them healthy in two seperate tanks, one with PC bulbs and the other with T5. I have random direct flow on both small colonies.

Some times they do take a while to open, because they ship them without water, or they aren't used to your water yet, the only thing i would be worried about is a zooanthid eating nudibrach, I had one of those once which is why you some times need to dip your coral. Another thing to check is the calcium levels.
