I have a standard 75 gallon and I'm having a hard time finding a good place for the power head because the flow is so strong. It seems to move the sand around to much and leave bare spots on the bottom of the tank.

Does anyone have a recommendation on how to best use these? They are rated for tanks 66 - 211.3 gallons.

I had the same problem in my 55 using two Koralia #4's. One aimed at the surface to break it up and the other to deflect off the front glass. The one off the front glass was creating the same in mine. I moved it half way down the glass, still deflecting off the front, but a slight upper angle. No more issues for me. Was a recommendation by another member.
It's on the back left corner aimed at the center of the front glass.

I'll give Gilbbert credit, he's the person who told me about it.

I did around the same thing, but I have 2 6100's. I placed them each at one back corner and faced them so that they each hit a spot at around 1/3 towards the front glass from their respective sides and bounced off. Makes a great swirl pattern without stirring up my sand.
Don't put the price on the bag please.
