Coral suggestion?
i have a 10 gallon tank, standard size, with 8 pounds of live rock, and 15 pounds of live sand, two small powerheads, a hang on filter, and a 5 gallon sump with refugium, on top i have a 65W PC light with actinic and 10k
what would be some good hardy corals i could start out with?
thanks

Not many with that lighting... Maybe some mushrooms, palys or some easy zoos.

I would stick to soft corals. Like JimD said mushrooms would be a good bet. With that smaller volume of water I would be more concerned with water quality and temp. Things can change really fast in that volume of water, so you need something that is pretty hardy. If you take your time and look around you can find some really cool mushrooms that rival hard corals in their colors.

Yes, they are hardy and do fine under PC bulbs. Most leathers too, such as a toadstool.

zoas/palys love "dirty water" and are easy to keep in most cases.
