    Default Elegance and BTA

Picked up a few things earlier in the week, an aussie elegance coral and a small green BTA. If anyone has experience with elegance corals and placement in tank, would be interested in opinion. I have placed it in a mostly shaded spot in a large cave. Is there a way to know if it is getting sufficient light? Seems to be looking good where it is.

Second, the BTA crawled into a cave and is upside down in a totally inaccessible area which receives zero light. Should I just leave it alone or try to get it out somehow. Its been there more than 48hrs. I don't think I could get it without injuring it. ( Last picture is of the BTA)

On the BTA, leave him alone, he is just getting settled in. When he wants more light or current, he will go looking for it. You might feed him a little. Maybe squirt a turkey baster snack his way or give him a little sliver of fish or krill. I dissolve Coral Frenzy mixed with brine shrimp, perks them up fast.
O, yea! now the right ear!

I agree with Cindy, the best thing about anemones are they will take care of themselves on placement.

I have read that elegance should be placed in a sand bed such that their tentacles do not rub on rock. Good luck.

Yeah, leave the BTA where it is.
