your only problem there is that pump is pushing too much water for that overflow to handle, its causing the water to pour into the skimmer box too fast creating bubbles that get sucked into the siphon tube
    I agree.....

Yeah, I had a smaller pump (now using it on my skimmer) and although I still had a problem with the bubbles collecting in the siphon it wasn't nothing like this. I have to vac the air out of that siphon once a day.

I refilled my tank with ten gallons (good thing I was due a water change) to replace that which the tank placed upon the floor. I don't know what I would have done if my floor was carpeted. I have two rugs that soaked up quite a bit, hung them outside and rinsed them with tap. Waiting to see how that comes out.

    Thanks for the help.

Hey guys, thanks for the help.

I received the pump last night. I put it in as soon as I could and this morning when I got up the siphon was still clear of bubbles. ONe problem checked off.

I ordered a RODI unit from Buckeye last night, so that takes care of problem two. Now if I can whip the ich I will be good to go.

Thanks again, really appreciate all of the advice!

Glad it worked out for you. Remember to check the intake screen from time to time as it sometimes gets clogged with debris due to the pump always pulling in water/air.
