if the motor looks like this may even be backwards (header will be on the fire wall) it will work

Well, I'll be heading to you place saturday afternoon in a plymouth neon, i think it's a 2001. I don't know if it will help any, but you can check it out if you want. on 2 conditions: 1) don't break my car, and 2) don't expect me to know much about the motor. ;-)

nope... wikipedia says u have a motor 2.0 L A588 I4

Also have a 96 Dodge Avenger, with the 420A motor.
