Sea Hare questions

I just one of these from Andrew vs wild, and thought I would see if anyone has any experience with them.

I bought it as we have a little hair algae in the small tank. Not much, but a little. I figure I will probably pass it on to another charter member as a pass it forward thing once it does its job.

Will it eventually find the hair algae? I acclimated it and put it in the tank on some hair algae. It basically left that area and is now steadily working its way the other direction. I think I got a bum hare or something.

Seriously, I know it is probably just exploring the tank, but I want to make sure it doesn't starve and wonder when I could need to take steps to move it back to algae. I worry about these kinds of things...

Anyone have one of these? How long did it take to clean up the hair algae in your tank? What else can you tell me about it?

I actually picked up one from AquaDome a few weeks ago, and I also put it next to hair algae but it went to work on it though. Well the next day it seemed to forget about the hair algae and has moved onto the back glass and is consuming the algae on the back glass. It hasn't moved towards hair algae since, which has got me bummed!

As long as they keep moving, they are fine. I would handle them as little as possible and with care. If they are scared, they can nuke your water. If they stay in one place for more than a day or two, I would gentle redirect them.
Mine did great for months, then just sat there and died.
Have you seen what they do when they are finished cleaning the top of the gl***** (O, brother...the program thinks I have a potty mouth and beeped me)

Mine would just let go like a blob of lard, his wide rear end would swing around and land on the sand first. Very funny to watch. I have thought about getting another one, who has them in stock locally?
