Thread: Need Opinions on PM Skimmer

Default Need Opinions on PM Skimmer

I'm looking at buying the Precision Marine Bullet 1 listed in the sale section. Most of the sites that sell it say it works great. I wanted to see if anyone has used this and what their feelings are.

Right now I have a Coralife (largest one) and I'm not too happy with it. I'm looking to upgrade, but would prefer used so I don't have to spend the upgraded price LOL.

My tank is a 120 Reef, somewhat heavy bio-load...sump is a 75 gallon tank, but only fills up about 2/3rds of the way.

    Thanks,
    Dee

Thanks...no more input needed right now...it won't fit in the sump with the way we have it right now. I think I need to re-design the sump first, or basically just figure out something new for the sump. There's not much room between the top of the sump and the top of the stand

For a second, I was thinking....a PM skimmer won't fit in a 75 gallon sump? But, realized after reading again, you were talking about vertical clearance.

That's an awful large sump tank for a 120 gallon display tank.
