Default RedSea Xenia in Corpus Christi

I got multiple frags of Red Sea Xenia in the Corpus Christi area. This animal have been with me for 10 years since when I was in Seattle. Tolerate various condition but do best with bright light and moderate current. More current, more compact the animal. Requirement is more like SPS than soft corals.
People have report that Xenia need Iodine. i don't know if this is true. I find that it does not do well if I neglect water change and I never dose anything but food and Alkalinity and Calcium.
I also find that it does not like spike in temperature. Heat problem cause it to melt away. I have a friend who does not do water change very much and he cannot keep Xenia.
    Picture later today.

    Default Xenia

Do you have any frags to spare of the Xenia?? DrMark gave me a pretty nice Xenia frag just after my new tank was set up and we stuck it in a hole with no epoxy and the cleaning crew flopped it around a bit then the spot tail blenny finished it off. I'd pay, trade, promise a trade, or whatever. I'd also love to come see your tank some time if possible and would love to reciprocate as well. Of course my tank is all of 3 months old and off to a slow start.

Ocean, you need to start a new thread and follow the instructions here:

Once you have submitted a frag to the program, you can sponsor Minh's Xenia.
