    just wanted to let everyone know that these JBJ auto water top off units are trash! I have had nothing but problems with them. I have been trading them out but then I get another crappy ato hehe. Just wanted to let you guys know if possible i would go another route as far as water top off goes
    Going to change my screenname to ReefCube soon!

    well it is covered as far as defects but its a pain returning it all the time.

    I never had problems with the one I had. Worked perfect up until the day I sold it to Erik (Scorpino). I think he still has it.

    Yep, I still have it and it's good too me! What's going wrong on yours? What are you setting it at? Mines on mode b and it beeps when it's on. I like that feature... Are they just flat out not working???

    Mine was junk. Switched to the guy in Houston, and had problems with 1 of the 2 I got from him, and sent it back. He got it the week before Ike wiped him out...

    i had one and it worked for a bit and then stunk...i have since switched to the tunze osmolator and it is the bomb!!!! one of the best investments ever....

    you see i knew i was not the only one haha. I will maybe buy a tunze but I have heard they have problems as well

    All that really needs to happen is to have a good float. Ray Allen's post made me feel dumb. He just ran a float to a lamp cord and viola. You could run two of them and be better off.
