Default Elos protein skimmers or cone type.

I am looking to make a upgrade with my current skimmer. I am interested in what you guys think about these Elos skimmers. They sound really good, and I like the fact that they have a patent on the design. Gives me reason to believe why others have not copied the design. I would like to hear from those who have even seen one in action. If anyone has experience with these please post. If you have links to different reviews that would be appreciated also. I am also looking at the ATB skimmers, or another cone type skimmer.

    Default anyone with any recommendations?

I know Deltec has a great rep, but I was wanting to see what else is out there that may work just as well if not better and be easier with maintenance if that is possible. Easier maintenance means the wife and kids may help out more with the tank. More efficient means I could save with electricity, man hours and water changes. I would like to hear what is out there with all the bells and whistles. I have scraped and saved for a long time and want to get my full dollars worth.

What size system are you going to put it on? Also, what type of livestock will you have?

Lonestar its going to be a heavily stocked mixed reef with the upper section containing a majority of SPS. This particular skimmer will be for a 55 gallon set up. I will be shopping later on for a much larger system and wanted to find opinions of this brand since I have already heard many positive reactions to the ATB types. The Elos one seems to be really interesting to me as I can picture the flow of bubbles causing more contact time and more gunk. I was wondering how well the smaller version works because I have read that the larger ones are great. I am guessing that there are not many people here that are experienced with these products.
