Can different size bulbs be used on one icecap 660 ballast? For example I have two sets of 3 48" bulbs wired to one ballast. That is a total of 6 bulbs. Since the ballast can support 4 bulbs, I was wondering if I can add one 24" bulb to each ballast. The 24" bulbs would either be added to the end of my tank to light a frag rack or moved to the sump to light a frag tank.

Here is a picture of how the frag rack option would look lit from the top.

Keep in mind I have a 6' tank that has 4' bulbs centered. I tried to keep the frag rack on the end so as not to block the front view of the tank. However, without light directly above the frags they began to lose color and stopped growing.

I think each ballast is capable of lighting 16 feet of bulbs
