Yellow Watchman Goby MIA?

I added a yellow watchman goby and a pistol shrimp together about a week ago. The goby was acting great, and found the same burrow as the pistol shrimp. Ever since the goby had gone into the burrow, I have not seen him. This has been about 5 days now, and I am starting to become concerned. Has anyone ever had a pistol shrimp that would eat other fish, or does anyone know any tricks to lure him out of hiding? I am starting to believe he has died, but am trying to remain optimistic. Any suggestions??

my red corris wrasse was missing for about 5-6 days and bam he just poped out we thought he was dead but yea lol
