also i will say the receivers are too blame sometimes as well cause romo thows where he is suppossed to but they forget to go there, but i will say this about witten he will admit when he made the mistake. but on the other hand mistakes are expensive and cause games to be lost.

i think they should be hit in thier wallets when they make stupid mistakes and bad plays.

I think that the team has what it takes, they just cant get their crap together as a unit, and some players have suffered through some personal issues during the season. I dont blame a woman who is not on the field for any problems, because I myself always became more pumped up when personal friends were watching me do sports. Who in their right mind wants to lose in front of friends and family, let alone a gazillion fans who may be wearing your jersey. The team should start working out their issues now and then they can always look forward to next year. But then I am not a professional football critic or coach and my opinion does not matter in the long run. I do like the idea that the professional players should be hit in their wallets if they play poorly, but then who would sign a contract like that. Well there is always next year.

Here's how you start repairing the team.

    Two words:
    Bill Cowher

    Or 3 words:
    Bring back Parcells

I just watched part of a program on this very subject it was filmed at the new cowboys staduim construction. it says due to the salary cap and bonus it is hard to fire anyone without it costing tons of money so that prolly wont happen. there are several defense players that will be up or open for change but thats all. it says they will have to work with what they have and train better. Just what i heard today on TV

Cowher would never work for Jerry Jones.Dallas will continue with "puppet" coaches because Jones has to run the show.Never thought Parcells would last long in Dallas, now he's stealing coaches and players in Miami

Ultimately the failure of Cowboys was the responsibility of Wade Phillips. It is his job to take all that talent and make something of it. I believe that a certain a certain offensive coach wanted the head coaching position and it was not in his best interest for the Cowboys to go all the way. Still it is Phillips' responsibility to inspire, negotiate, intimidate, or delegate leadership to create a real team and get the most from his players. This is the job of all leaders and he failed at this. GROW A PAIR WADE OR GET OUT!

The ultimate problem with the Cowboys is the owner and always will be. SABOB hit it square on the head and the reason many good coaches have turned down the job.
