the card was a credit card,(VISA).
and as for finding the person SAPD will be taking care of that,I had asked if they could trace the modem IP,and also were they were shiped to.If this person is out of state another PD will take care of finding the person.
The officer that i spoke with said they take this type of situation very serious, like jim said who in the end pays for the mishap.ALL OF US DO.
as for them putting the money back into the card i still have to speak with the clam people on monday.
    Giau good point!!!!!!!MAX THEM OUT.

I work at a very large financial institution myself, actually the largest and all I can say is dont worry about the charges... That can be taken care of.. The only thing to worry about is if these people have your personal information, if they're evil they can really hurt your credit score through other ways.. Not trying to scare you but just to inform you of what I've seen..
