    Question Mechanic/ Gear Heads

Any Mechanics or gear heads on the board

    I have a 02 Chevy S-10 4.3 V6 Vortec 68,000K miles

For whatever reason my ABS light started coming on and going off sparatically. The truck breaks fine with no problems. This started a few months ago and now it stays on. Someone told me its most likely just a bad sensor of something.

    Any ideas??

Its usualy a warning letting you know that service is needed. I wouldnt bank on a faulty sensor.

Check fluid levels, pads and sensor in that order.
    Any other CELs?

You can come by our shop and we can read the ABS code and tell you what's setting it off.

Where is your shop located? I might bring it by to let you guys take a look. I still have a warranty but just for the dealership to hook it up to a diagnostic machine I have to pay $50

We're at 4810 NW Industrial Dr.
We're closed tomorrow and Thursday but will be open Friday and Saturday 9-6. It shouldn't take but a minute to read the code.
