    there is a sand out there that is very very fine does anyone know the name of the sand and where i can get it at just added another 29 gallon to my collection

    Sugar sand is the finest that I know of.

    Its called 'oolitic', calcium based sand. Most online vendors and some local retailors have it. Aint cheap though.

    I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure I saw several types of sand 50% off at Alamo Aquatics two days ago. Might want to give them a call or check them out.
