    Question Removing Bristle Worms

Here is a good question for the people out there, if I have asked you before dont worry I am trying to get a vote going on this one.

Latest live rock has a few bristle worms that poke their heads out at night, little orange\blue guys (is there a market for bi-color bristle worms?). Anyway I am not sure if these guys are good or bad, and wondering if anyone can identify them? Regardless I am thinking about getting them out of there, problem is they hide right back into the little holes as soon as the hand hits the water, since I like the rock I don't want to pitch it (yeah that color spaghetti looking one). So the question comes down to this, if I yank the rock out and place in a tub with salt water will club soda drive these guys out? If not can I use a fresh water shock method on the rock (currently there is no growth, so not opposed to this) to get them out.

    Suggestions?
    Thanks,
    BriGuy

I leave me bristle worms alone...they are an awesome addition to the clean-up crew and take the graveyard shift

Mine are not blue...but I think they come in different color variants.

A freshwater dip should get them to come out of the rock...but I'm sure some have already migrated in other areas of your tank that you don't know about. Large ones can sting so be careful.

A six-liner will take care of them too, but they really are good for the tank. They clean out the stuff we can't get to in the rocks.
