    Default anemone's in powerheads ???

    this seems to happen to a lot of people and i remember seeing some one saying something about using a stocking or something like that to prevent this ??? any one no what im talking about ???

    Put your power head down the leg of black panty hose. When you are at the tip of the hose cut the tip off so that your powerhead pushes water without obstruction. The hose is basically only suppost to cover the intake aka the area of the powerhead that sucks water in.

    Just make sure the hose does not get clogged too quickly.

    I could have used this 2 weeks ago, my anem let go of his rock and came home to find him plastered to the Tunze 6100. i thought he was a gonner. I took the grill off the Tunze and set it in the sand, and about 2 hours later the anem moved himself out and attached to a rock. He's been just fine since then.

    I started using my wife's pantyhose on my Korailas after buying a Haitian Pink Tip anemone a couple weeks ago.I rinse off the pantyhose every weekend when I do my weekly water change.Haven't noticed a decrease in flow yet.
