Default Clams or maybe oyster? ID

Last night I noticed a brown blob tucked away in a crevice. I observed at least one mouth that looked more like a sponge. The blob wasn't light sensitive (I flipped em on and the blob didn't even flinch). However it was weary of shadows. It would sink into the hole with a jelly like texture. This morning I went back to the hole and theres a clam (or oyster or something)! Sorry no pictures as of yet...late for work.
