Default Lugols & an acro Crab

Does anyone know if a Lugols Iodine dip would kill an acro crab? I'm getting 3 new colonies tomorrow and 2 of them have crabs (<< that jsut doesn't sound right). I dip all incoming corals and was jsut wondering is my dip would kill them.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jonathan

Remove the acro crab as concentrated amounts of iodine will kill the crab.

Yes the dip will kill the acro crab. If you want to keep them try and remove them before dipping.

i did this before, i turned the acro upside down and shook it in the water, once the crab fall off, you are good to go.

But do it in a container, not in the main tank, you never know what else you might be shaking off.
