WTB: XBox 360
My oldest turned 13 yesterday and got a bunch of cash, wants to buy an Xbox 360 but I told him to wait and see if I can find him a better deal. Lemme know if you have anything to sell, mostly just looking for the base system though.

Make sure you get one with a Hard Drive. My cousin had the base system and pretty much was forced into buying one because the memory cards won't hold that much profile information. Also, you can use them as a media center if you have a computer with windows mce. I don't have it so I use a program called Tversity. Works great!

This is on craigslist (not allowed to post the link) but this is on Oct 28 under Electronics section
I am selling my xbox 360 because I don't really have the time to play it anymore. It is a Premium Pro edition and comes with everything. I will sell for $190. I do not have the original box anymore but it comes with the user manuals, console, power supply, HD video cables, ethernet cord, headset, wireless controller, and 20GB hard drive. Also, I do not have any games for it. I live in the NW side of town and don't have my own transportation so I would like to sell to someone around here. If interested email me.
Thats a pretty good deal for the Premium Pro edtion with 20g harddrive.

Thanks for the heads up Ray, I found it and also another that looks decent but I have no idea what the differences are between the different x360 systems. This one was listed for I think $230??? (can't believe I already forgot, just looked at it!)
"Brand new factory sealed black xbox 360 elite core system with 120 gb hd. This unit retails for $499 + Tax in stores. Would make a perfect christmas present! Send me a message if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing it Thanks a lot."

The Xbox 360 elite with the 120gb hard drive is a great deal especially if it really is new. Not sure why they would let it go for that price, but if its the real deal thats pretty cool.

be careful buying "sealed" goods. a shrink wrapper will seal a box with a brick in it pretty easily.
core system - no hard drive
pro system - 20 or 60 gb hard drive
elite system - 120 gb hard drive (and is black)
there are a few other bundles like arcade and/or halo. you definitely want a hard drive though. 20gb is more than plenty too

Thanks for the help yall. So the hard drive is the only difference in core, pro, and elite? I guess I can't just slap a regular hard drive in it eh? I got plenty of them just laying around.

Unfortunately not. I have 400gb of laptop hard drives sitting around and I WISH I could use them! The core is also not reverse compatible, it will not play regular xbox games. The Elite is Black and the Halo edition is green.
