    Default Help with anemone

I just recently purchased a green bubble tip. How do you go about moving him to another spot once it anchors it self down? I have a Koralia 3 in a 55 so I have some good water movement. I want to move it to a calmer spot so my clown can try to host in it. He tried earlier but the current was to fast for him to try.

Yep. Don't waste your time, they have a mind of their own. When I first got mine, I carefully located him in a sheltered rock...next morning he is gone. Found him on the bottom of the tank by the back wall. He stayed there about a week then started traveling to his happy place under my Kor 4. He stayed there for months until I was out of town for a week and forgot to tell my hubby to feed him. Back to the bottom rear of the tank. He is slowly working his way back up.

They will move themselves to a place they are happy with. You might give it a few days to see if it moves itself. It is possible to damage thier foot if you try to move it by scraping it off and then most likely it will want to move from where you put it anyway. Our GBTA moved all the way across the tank and ended up on a rock we didn't really want it on, as it killed some blastos which were there first. Anyway maybe move your Koralia and play with your flow some after it settles... Mike

New guy here but trust me do not attempt to move and just let it move where it wants to. Mine keep moving to the back of the display so, I would spin the rock around so he was at the front. Or I tried moving by putting a powerhead blowing at him until he released. Each time, he would move someplace else. Like you I have a 55 and running koralia's. Long story short; Koralia 1 BTA 0 about 2 weeks ago the BTA floated up into the powerhead and the rest is history. Next one I get will be placed where I want to it to settle but, if and when it moves then that is the way it goes.

Thats what I did, I ajusted the Koralia so it wasn't blasting the poor bubble tip. Seems to be working, the perc is hosting in it more. The only thing I forgot to ask Jen is, how often should i feed the thing?

She told us to direct feed it about once a week.

Mine's been hiding in the rocks half-closed up since I put him in.
Not sure if the 6025 in the 29g is too much or the light is intense or if he's just a baby
