    Default SPEAKER WIRES

i plan on removing my subwoofers, amp, and box today or tomorrow. im getting rid of the box for another one i will be buying this weekend. my question is, would it be ok to just leave the wires in my trunk loss? i was thinking about putting tape around the tip but thats it.
its a custom fiberglass box for a 2000 caviler body style i think, if anybody is interested.

As long as you insulate any bare wire you should be fine, just make sure you dont get the wire cought in the trunk hinges or door.

just remove the remote wire to the amp and tape that and the the amp won't turn on. In which the speaker wires won't spark
