    Default Invert ID (anemone?)

I've noticed what look like little clear anemones on two of my rocks. They've been there for months. I'm pretty sure they aren't aptasia, but I don't know what they are, or, more importantly, if they are "bad" for my reef environment. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Need a better picture, can't tell on this one.
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

Might try "majano" anemone. Very similar to Aptasia and reproduce rapidly.

Not the best pic, but they sure look like aptasia to me. I'm of the school that they are unavoidable and a good thing in your overflows and sump (great filter feeders). Get a copper banded butterfly or some peppermint shrimp to keep them out of your display.

I'll try for a better pic a little later. They don't seem to be reproducing much. The population hasn't really changed in the last six to eight months.

Here's a slightly clearer shot of the inverts in question.

I had one visible, just like those, for the first 6-8 months of having my tank inhabited. Then, quite suddenly, they appeared all over everything. A couple peppermint shrimp made them disappear in about a week. Now I don't see any at all.
    Logic?!? Auuggggghhhh!!!!

Peppermint shrimp it shall be then. I've been meaning to get some anyway. Thanks for the help everyone.
