Default Feeler - 250w DE MH setup

Just throwing it out there to see if there is any interest. It seems like too much for my 29 gal, I'd like to try something else.

    I suppose... $200?

    Pm me if interested.

Hmmm, I was just debating on moving up to a 250w on my 29g.... Maybe it's a good thing I haven't...

As a general rule of thumb it should be about 5 watts of light per every one gallon of aquarium. So in a 29 gallon aquarim a 150 watt setup would be ideal. If i'm wrong please someone correct me, but this is what I have always read.

Watts per gallon do not really matter. It's the level of light intensity that matters and the depth of the tank. Your assessment of a 150watt is probably on target but just wanted you to know that the watts per gallon should not be a deciding factor. This would also be better addressed in another thread versus someone's "For Sale/Trade" thread.

    Chris,

What type of light is it and are you considering trades? Any pics?
