    Default Six Line Wrasse missing

He had been snooping around my Bubble tip anemone alot.
(something my clowns will never do lol)
Ive checked everywhere for him and he's no where
This isnt the first fish to be eatin by my BTA ive lost two damsels and a cleaner goby!!
Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this?
    Otherwise he will be sold.
He's half a foot and probably too big for my Bio cube 8 haha.
    Advice or customers haha!!

    1) he could have gone carpet surfing. They do that.

    2) he could be buried or hiding. I've had them disappear for a week before, and then show up

    3) could have gone over an overflow/drain

I have all sorts of fish, including a 6 line, in with several BTAs - one is about 15" when fully open.

Yeah, I have never had my Rose BTA ever eat a live fish. To me, their sting just isn't powerful enough to stop a healthy fish in it's tracks. A carpet anemone on the other hand, now that I'd believe.

My guess is carpet surfing....jumped out of the tank. I had a beautful six line that after two years decided to make the jump to the window....or maybe it was the TV....in any case he came up short, and I found him too late.

So, it has been awhile since your post....so if your wrasse is still alive you should probably have seen it by now. I did want to let you know though that they do burrow in the sand at night or when they feel threatened. I have never owned one that didnt do this. As I recall, I dont ever remeber not seeing them for longer than a weeks period, usually saw them daily....in fact, with one I had, I he would pop out of the sand precisely 10 minutes after the lights came on in a.m. Cool fish, easy to keep. I havent had one in years but they were always fun to watch. Hope yours is still alive.
