pink pulsing pom pom xenia - N San Antonio
Let's get things started....
We have a frag of pink pom pom xenia pulsing away and ready for the taking.
There was one stalk on this shell when I pulled it away from the mother colony a couple of weeks ago, and it has already split to two. The xenia is actually quite a bit pinker than it looks in this pic as it was taken under actinics only. Although they are not quite the 2 inch recommended height of xenias for donation, I am thinking that applies more to the xenia elongata than the smaller, pinker pom pom variety (given that the mother colony stalks only reach 1 and 1/2" to 2" in full grown height).
These have spread well for us under a variety of lighting and flow situations, seeming to prefer moderately strong light and indirect flow.

Nice! I want to be on the Sponsor list for this frag. My wife has been asking for me to get some xenia. I just switched to vho t5's recently and I just got my new bulbs today. I can give it a good home.

Looks like jc is now a donor, so we are going to go ahead and hand off this frag if that is ok...

Ok, think I fixed the post info. I understood that jc was the sponsor and I was the donor, but what I meant was that we had to wait until he offered up a coral for donation elsewhere (becoming a donor) in order for him to be eligible to receive the frag.
I wrote 1 available while the hand-off of the frag was pending, now it is officially gone to jc, so 0 available. Think I was just making it confusing, though. All better now!

I'm ready to pass this frag onto someone else. It has doubled in size and moved on a nearby rock. The frag is on the original shell and is the same size as the one in the picture. The new growth is doing great. Who's next and how do we continue.

Currently there isn't anyone on the waiting list. The # available needs to be updated in the first post then it's just a matter of waiting for someone to want some.

Can someone update that number? I'll just leave it alone and wait until we get a new sponsor.
