yesterday i noticed my regal tang was swimming in circles scratching him self on a rock.

isnt this a sign of parasights?

he did it for maby 40 seconds thren stoped, he hast done it yet that ive seen. so i am hoping he just has maby something on him or bothering him on his side. he has done this once before when i had my red slime out break, each morning he would have alot on him

if i continue to see this behavior, whta should i do?

i dont have a hospital tank

maby a freshwater dip, isnt that what they are used for?

i have never done one before though

I'd suggest the next thing you buy was a hospital tank, just a basic 20 works fine. We keep an empty tank at all times just in case.

i got in a bicolor blenny a few weeks ago.

i havnt seen him do it again, i just think he/she had an itch

Just keep feeding food w/vitimin C and and keep the guy well fed (like Scorpino said) and it should be ok.

Do you have a cleaner shrimp? They are usually good at helping with parasites. Your best defense it to keep it healthy and not overstressed. Although freshwater dips and hospital tanks have their place they are very stressful to fish and my make a fish worse. Of course you have to consider the whole tank.

i have been planning to get a cleaner shrimp for a long time. i just need to bring my nitrates down a little bit more, and i will get one. and he has been fat and healthy for over 1 year, i have never seen him stressed.
