Latest word: air handler on Friday, condensing unit on Saturday. Please call to check if we are open till then. I will keep posting here also. So far the rain has kept it semi-cool in the store, but they are projecting heat on Monday.

So it sounds like your lease makes your responsible for hvac? Are they saying the salt had anything to do w/it?

The majority of the problems stem from the fact that the main drip pan is cracked and the secondary drain runs uphill. It finally went out when the moisture from the pan got to the blower motor. I have only officialy been the tenant for 3 months, prior to that we were operating under Alex's lease. It is my understanding that the majority of the problems were pre existing to his lease from 2004. As many of you know we have had problems with this ac for many years, leaking, short cycling, etc. I think they realize that it needs to be replaced, they just want to get the best deal. So far we have been able to keep the water temp ok by shortning the light cycle and using ice. We did lose all of our coco worms, four acros, an acan, and a scolymia the first day. I will have to be at the shop over the next couple of days to let the AC guy in so we will be open then. I will post with hours as soon as I know. Thank you for understanding.
